Air Conditioning
Keeping your car interior cool when it’s hot out means getting where you’re going without breaking a sweat. And you’ll be glad to know that we are certified by Lane County as an “Eco-Logical” business. We use 134a refrigerant, which does not deplete ozone and is considered environmentally safe.
Like the rest of your car, the A/C system needs maintenance too. It’s best to have the entire system flushed every two to three years. By flushing out the spent refrigerant and replacing it with new refrigerant, contaminants that contribute to buildup are eliminated. Keeping the system properly maintained will help keep these parts in good working order and will save money in the long run.
Your A/C System is comprised of:
- ac-systemAC Condenser
- AC Compressor
- AC Compressor Clutch
- AC Compressor Drive Belt
- Radiator
- Refrigerant Hoses
- Site Glass
- High Side Port
- Schrader Valve
- Orifice Tube or Expansion Valve
- Pressure Cycling Switch
- Evaporator
- Accumulator
- Sensors in the ductwork that monitor the air mix
- Sensors inside the car
Our ASE-certified technicians can inspect your AC system and its components to make sure it’s in good working order.
